Nazywam się Jakub Kosmowski. Urodziłem się w Krakowie, 19. Marca 1987 roku.  Całą przygodę z windsurfingiem zacząłem na jeziorze żywieckim. Było to w 2000 roku. Moi bracia pokazali mi pierwsze kroki na desce a jak już zaczęło mi trochę wychodzić wszystko potoczyło się bardzo szybko. W 2003 roku zgłosiłem się na pierwsze międzynarodowe zawody niestety nie wiało. W 2004 roku wystartowałem cały sezon w EFPT. Najlepszym wynikiem w tamtym sezonie było 7 miejsce na Prassonisi. W klasyfikacji ogólnej na koniec roku zająłem 13 miejsce. W sezonie 2005 poprawiłem swoja ogólna pozycje na miejsce 11 i osiągając najlepszy wynik we francuskim Hyeres gdzie zakończyłem zawody na miejscu 5.Sezon 2006 zakończyłem na miejscu 8. W tym sezonie również zadebiutowałem w PWA Fuerteventura gdzie skończyłem zawody na 17 miejscu.

W sezonie 2007 zacząłem bardzo dobrze od drugiego miejsca w pierwszych zawodach na Taryfie. Sezon zakończyłem na czwartym miejscu w klasyfikacji ogólnej.

W roku 2004 oraz 2005 wygrałem trzy eliminację pucharu polski. Były to jedyne polskie zawody w jakich wystartowałem.

My name is Jakub Kosmowski. I was born on the 19th of March 1987 in Krakow. I’ve started my windsurfing on the small lake close to my home. It was year 2000. My brothers showed thought me the first few steps. When I started to do quite well it all went really fast. In the year 2003 I registered for the first international competition but unfortunately there was no wind. In the season 2004 I competed in the EFPT. I did the whole tour with the best result in Prassonisi. It was 7^th place. In the overall result in the end of the year I became 13^th. Season 2005 was a bit better for me. I finished 11^th in the overall ranking also my best result was 5^th in Hyeres, France. The year 2006 I finished on the place 8. In this year I also made my debut in the PWA Fuerteventura where I finished 17^th.

The beginning of the year 2007 was very good for me. I finished 2^nd in the first event on Tarifa. I finished on the 4^th place in the overall ranking.

In season 2004 and 2005 I won three Polish Cup events. They where the only events in poland I’ve competed in.
